Campus Improvement Day

Saturday, April 1
9:00am-1:00pm

There is a lot of work to be done this Campus Improvement Day and we certainly cannot do it alone!

On the agenda:

The outer courtyard needs a lot of help with weeds and pine needles so that our kindergarten classes have access to outdoor learning. The inner courtyard continues its transformation into a colorful, clean area conducive to learning! This day, mulch and soil for student planters will be added. The planters around our front sign is getting a facelift with some new plants! And as always, community art projects allow students to leave their mark on their elementary campus.

How can you help? Join us!

There is so much to do, so bring the whole family on April 1! There are ways for absolutely everyone to help! Fun activities are planned for student participation including Birdhouse Painting and contributing to the Weaving Wall and Painted Rock Garden! Did we mention there will be yummy snacks?

Donate Recycled Materials!

We are always collecting bright and colorful materials for our Weaving Wall, especially colorful plastic shopping bags. Other great materials: colorful cloth, bells, beads, string, ribbon, bottle caps, etc.

Lend a tool or truck!

Do you have any of the following?  Please consider letting us borrow:

  • Blowers
  • Rakes
  • Large shovels
  • Wheel Barrow
  • Tarps
  • Hedge clippers
  • Lopping shears

Please bring these to the school on or before Campus Improvement Day.

We need two parents with trucks willing to take a load of leaves and other yard waste to the dump.

From all of us at the PTA and school, THANK YOU!  We accomplish great things when we work together!

Saturday, November 19
9:00am-1:00pm

We accomplished so much last Campus Improvement Day, but there is still so much to do! On the agenda: complete the Rock Garden, conquer the leaves, continue adding to the weaving wall and chalk doors.

How can you help?

Bring the whole family on November 19! We have fun activities planned for student participation! The PTA will provide bagels, yogurt, bananas, and juice. This is a great opportunity for families to enjoy contributing to a positive school environment while getting to know other Fuller families.

Donate!

We need even more bright and colorful materials for our Weaving Wall, especially colorful plastic shopping bags. Other great materials: colorful cloth, bells, beads, string, ribbon, bottle caps, etc.

Last Campus Improvement Day we were able to bring in 1.5 tons of stone for the students' painted Rock Garden. Unfortunately, it was not enough! To cover the cost of the stone needed for Saturday, we still need to raise $400. A generous family has offered to match any donation made towards stone between now and Friday! Please consider donating, every little bit helps!

Send cash or check in a sealed envelope labeled “PTA: Campus Improvement.”

Campus Improvement Day, Saturday, October 29
Pictures added!

Our courtyard got the help it needed! We cleaned up the weeds and leaves. Teachers can now use this area as an outdoor learning space.

Thanks to all who helped the PTA transform our inner courtyard into a colorful, clean area conducive to learning!
